Congratulations Chris & Wendee! Here’s a clip of our first of many (we hope) shoots at the popular Vista West Ranch! We also had a chance to work with our pals at Anne Marie Photography.

Barr Mansion is one of those venues with a TON of character that we just can’t get enough of! Not only is it the nation’s first certified organic events facility, but the history behind it is equally awesome! W.B. Barr, a prosperous businessman, built this elegant Victorian house for his family in 1898, not far from his store, which supported area farmers. Rick & Jennifer tied the knot here on November 1. We were definitely honored to be a part of it and put our cool new gliding rails system to work! Enjoy!

We recently learned that we were selected by the Knot for their national 2008 Best of Weddings issue. A 3rd party survey company conducted the poll of area brides. Thanks to everyone who voted for us!

Matthew & Annette’s wedding took place in McAllen, Texas with reception at Quinta Mazatlan (World Birding Center). Very nice Spanish-style, outdoor venue.

We got the chance to work again with our friend Sarah at Roxy & Kai Photography!

Want a cozy wedding? You must visit the Little Church at La Villita. We filmed Chris & Tina’s very intimate wedding in downtown San Antonio. The reception followed at Biga on the Banks – an up-scale restaurant/venue/bar on the Riverwalk. Here’s their Highlights Video featuring Michael Buble’s classy “That’s All” as selected by the couple.

Congratulations you two!

Here’s something that might not be on the top of your wedding to do list: LIGHT! It’s a videographer’s (and photographer’s) best friend . . . and ultimately yours. Think about all of the effort that goes into properly lighting a Hollywood movie set. Your wedding is no different. Proper lighting works wonders and improves details in your photos and wedding movie.

When choosing a wedding ceremony/reception venue keeping good lighting (either natural or artificial) in mind will ensure great cinematography!

Manny and Angela tied the knot at Austin 71, a very cool ceremony/reception spot in South Austin. The hill country vista was the perfect setting and the evening colors made for a great wedding video! They celebrated their Cuban & Mexican heritage in one big fiesta. We thought Edmundo Ross’ “Cancion Cubana (Cuban Love Song)” would make for a cool soundtrack and a neat highlights reel.
